About Lowell Lake State Park

Lowell Lake State Park is a day-use park in Londonderry, Vermont, built around Lowell Lake. A roughly 3.5-mile trail circles the water, passing a Revolutionary War-era cemetery, groves of tall white pines, and views of the lake and surrounding wetlands. The terrain is fairly level. Anglers can find perch, pickerel, largemouth bass, bullhead, and panfish. Visitors can launch car-top boats, but motorized engines are banned and the lake has a 5 mph speed limit, and no boats are rented on site. The park is lightly developed, offering informal day use with few facilities, and overnight camping and campfires are not allowed. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control and cleaned up after.
