About Maine Maritime Museum

Formerly known as the Bath Marine Museum, this Bath institution presents exhibits on Maine's maritime heritage and culture. Its large collection includes millions of documents, artifacts, and artworks, along with an extensive research library. Visitors can explore rotating and ongoing exhibitions, tour the Percy & Small Shipyard seasonally, see the historic Donnell House, Victorian home of a shipbuilder, watch blacksmithing demonstrations at a working forge, observe boat restoration at the Watercraft Restoration Center, and watch ship launching demonstrations. The museum also hosts family story times, lectures, and workshops throughout the year.
