Mammoth Cave National Park protects the longest known cave system in the world, with more than 400 miles of passages mapped so far. Ranger-led cave tours leave from the visitor center, including the rugged Wild Cave Tour. Above ground you can hike more than 80 miles of trails and paddle the Green and Nolin rivers. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an International Biosphere Region.
