The Millville Army Air Field Museum preserves the history of the Millville Army Air Field, dedicated in 1941 as America's First Defense Airport and used starting in 1943 to train fighter pilots on P-47 Thunderbolts and P-40 Warhawks. Housed in the original base headquarters building at Millville Executive Airport, the museum displays WWII aviation artifacts and an operational Link Trainer. The complex also includes the Henry E. Wyble Historic Research Library and Education Center.
