Moab Rock Shop, founded by Lin Ottinger in 1958, is the largest rock shop in southeastern Utah. It sells mineral specimens, fossils, crystals, polished stones, dinosaur bone, petrified wood, meteorites and antiques, alongside Ottinger's personal collection of rocks, fossils and old mining equipment. Ottinger, a self-taught paleontologist, discovered several Utah dinosaur specimens that were later donated to museums.
