Natural Falls State Park sits in a narrow V-shaped valley in the Ozark Highlands of northeast Oklahoma, close to the Arkansas line on US-412. A 77-foot waterfall drops through the rocks, with a railed platform at the top and a deck with seating at the bottom. Scenes from the 1974 film Where the Red Fern Grows were shot here. Swimming is not allowed, but there are 4.5 miles of trails, an 18-hole disc golf course and five yurts to rent; buy a parking pass online before you go.
