Why you should go…

The Oklahoma City National Memorial honors the 168 people killed in the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The outdoor memorial, dedicated in 2000, is open 24 hours a day and free to visit. The adjoining Memorial Museum, opened in 2001 in the former Journal Record Building, offers a self-guided interactive tour through the story of the bombing and its aftermath.
