The Oklahoma History Center is an 18-acre, 215,000-square-foot museum in Oklahoma City operated by the Oklahoma Historical Society. Opened in 2005, it is a Smithsonian Affiliate accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. Exhibits cover Oklahoma's history of geology, transportation, commerce, culture and aviation, drawing on the Historical Society's research collections of photographs, documents and oral histories.
