1250 Red Hill Road, Brookneal, VA 24528 · Brookneal, VA
Patrick Henry bought Red Hill in 1794 and lived here until his death in 1799; he is buried on the grounds. A foundation has run the site since 1944, with his restored law office, a reconstructed house, kitchen and other buildings, and a museum. The Quarter Place tells the story of the enslaved and free Black people who lived here. Adult admission is $8. A loop from the visitor center to the historic buildings and back is about 0.37 mile.
