About Richfield Historical Park

The park covers 33 acres within the Village of Richfield park system and sits beside the Richfield Nature Park, which adds another 92 acres. The Richfield Historical Society restores and maintains a group of historic buildings here, including the 150-year-old Messer/Mayer Mill, a log cabin, a blacksmith shop, and a granary. Coney Creek runs through wooded areas, and hiking trails and picnic spots are spread across the grounds. The historic buildings are generally opened only for scheduled tours and society events, and the park is available for rentals such as weddings and reunions.
