This park in Monroe, Michigan, marks the ground where fighting took place along the River Raisin in January 1813 during the War of 1812. It interprets those battles, the Indigenous alliance led by Tecumseh that won the largest success in them, and the later policies of removal and assimilation that followed. Visitors can walk and bike the park's trails, including the River Raisin Heritage Trail, and see the period gardens.
