About Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology

The Peabody is an archaeology collection and learning center on the campus of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. It was started through a bequest from a Phillips Academy alumnus who wanted to spark young people's interest in science and encourage respect for the Native American peoples of the Americas. The institution is also a working hub for research, teaching, and student programs, including summer digs and statistics projects. Its recent building renovation was completed, and it is marking its 125th anniversary.
