About Shiloh Museum of Ozark History

This Springdale institution works as a regional history museum for the Arkansas Ozarks. Its coverage centers on six northwest Arkansas counties: Benton, Boone, Carroll, Madison, Newton, and Washington. The museum runs exhibits, programs, and events on Ozark and Northwest Arkansas history, and it is open to the public during set weekday and Saturday hours. It also maintains a large research library and what is described as the largest collection of historic images in Arkansas. Its name comes from the pioneer community of Shiloh, which became Springdale in the 1870s. Admission is free, though donations are welcome.
