About Stonewall Saloon Museum
The Stonewall Saloon Museum sits on the historic downtown square in Saint Jo. The building dates to 1873, when it was built to serve cattle drovers traveling the Chisholm Trail. The museum tells the story of Saint Jo inside the saloon itself. It is run entirely by volunteers, who can lead guided tours and answer questions about local history. The museum is supported by donations and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
