This group spans Texas from the Gulf Coast to the Panhandle and West Texas, taking in Corpus Christi, Amarillo, Odessa, Glen Rose and Lubbock. Corpus Christi's Texas State Aquarium covers Gulf of Mexico wildlife and includes an on-site wildlife rescue center, while Amarillo's Don Harrington Discovery Center is a hands-on science museum and planetarium. Glen Rose's Dinosaur World is an outdoor park of life-size dinosaur sculptures with a fossil dig, and Lubbock's American Windmill Museum displays more than 160 historic and modern windmills.
