Sue-meg State Park

4150 Patricks Point Dr · Trinidad, CA

Why you should go…

Renamed Sue-meg in 2021 to restore its Yurok name, this coastal park sits on a forested headland with short trails leading to dramatic overlooks like Wedding Rock. Tide pools, whale-watching viewpoints and a re-created traditional Yurok village add cultural depth to the scenery. Sitka spruce forest covers much of the park between the ocean lookouts.
