The Tyler Rose Museum sits on the grounds of the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden and preserves costumes, memorabilia, and history from the Texas Rose Festival, an annual celebration of the region's rose industry held every October since 1933. The 7,500-square-foot museum has welcomed more than 300,000 visitors since opening in 1992. It operates year-round with reduced hours in the winter months and extended hours during festival dates.
