About Viaport Rotterdam

Viaport occupies a former mall in Schenectady. Its main draw is a self-guided aquarium with dozens of exhibits covering local rivers and deep ocean habitats, including tunnel tanks with sharks and fish and a touch pool with stingrays. Famous Figures is a wax-museum-style walk-through whose current theme is horror, with tributes to classic horror films and displays on killer clowns and the underworld. The building also has a cinema showing first-run movies, a retail area with shops and dining, and an arcade with more than fifty games and a prize redemption center.
