About
This entry gathers destinations across Arizona outside the state's main hubs, from Yuma in the southwest corner to Page and Window Rock in the north and east. Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area preserves the historic Colorado River crossing with state historic parks and restored wetlands. Near Page, family-run outfitters lead tours into Antelope Canyon and Waterhole Canyon, and in Window Rock, capital of the Navajo Nation, the Navajo Nation Zoological and Botanical Park cares for animals that cannot be returned to the wild.
