Arches National Park

Park entrance on US-191, north of Moab · Moab, UT

Why you should go…

Arches National Park protects more than 2,000 natural stone arches, along with pinnacles, rock fins and giant balanced rocks, in the high desert about 4 miles north of Moab. Plan at least a few hours for the scenic drive, its viewpoints and short trails, including the area called The Windows. Delicate Arch, the park's signature formation, has become a symbol of Utah. Services inside the park are limited, and the Park Service notes heavy traffic from spring through fall.
