Cascade Locks Historical Museum

Why you should go…

The museum occupies one of three original 1905 locktender's houses in the Port of Cascade Locks Marine Park, overlooking the historic canal and locks on the Columbia River. Founded in 1969 and run by volunteers, it displays the Oregon Pony, the first steam locomotive built on the Pacific Coast, alongside exhibits on Native American history, steamboats and the Cascade Rapids. Admission is free, with donations accepted.
