The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum, known as WAAAM, is located at Ken Jernstedt Airfield in Hood River, Oregon. Founded by Terry Brandt and opened in 2007, the nonprofit museum houses roughly 170 antique airplanes, 210 antique automobiles, and 30 antique motorcycles dating mostly from the 1900s to the 1930s. On the second Saturday of most months, volunteers open the hangar doors to start engines and fly some of the vintage aircraft for visitors.
