Cedar Breaks National Monument

Point Supreme on UT-148 · Brian Head, UT

Why you should go…

Cedar Breaks National Monument protects a natural amphitheater about 3 miles across and more than 2,000 feet deep. Its rim sits above 10,000 feet, so you look down on eroded rock from overlooks like Point Supreme. Bristlecone pines along the rim include trees more than 1,600 years old, and wildflowers such as bluebells and paintbrush bloom through the summer. Clear night skies also make it a stargazing spot.
