Zion National Park

1 Zion Park Blvd · Springdale, UT

Why you should go…

Zion National Park centers on Zion Canyon, a gorge 15 miles long and up to 2,640 feet deep that the North Fork of the Virgin River cut through Navajo Sandstone. A free shuttle serves the canyon and the neighboring town of Springdale, with schedules that change by season. Hikers come for Angels Landing and for The Narrows, where the canyon squeezes to about 20 feet wide between walls up to 2,000 feet tall. The park is open all year.
