A lakeside state park in Weare with a long sandy beach, grilling areas, boat rentals, and playing fields.
455 Clough Park Road, Weare, NH 03281 · Weare, NH
Clough State Park sits on the shore of Everett Lake, a reservoir created by a dam on the Piscataquog River. Visitors can spread out on a sandy beach, swim, grill, or rent a boat for time on the water. The park store sells snacks and ice cream, and open playing fields and a shaded picnic area round out the grounds. Parking is limited, so reserving a spot ahead of a busy weekend or holiday is recommended. Lifeguards are not on duty, and pets are kept off the beach and nearby picnic area, though service animals are welcome. Because there are no public trash bins, visitors are expected to carry out everything they bring in.
