124 Main St, Kingston, NH 03848 · Kingston, NH
This 44-acre park sits on Kingston Pond, also called Great Pond, a short drive from the New Hampshire seacoast and Boston. Visitors can swim at the beach, which has bathhouses on both sides, and enjoy picnic areas and pavilions. Parking is limited, so the park recommends reserving a day-use spot ahead of time, especially on sunny weekends and holidays. Pets are not allowed on the beach or in the nearby picnic area, though service animals are welcome. Alcohol and smoking are banned. The park connects to the larger Rock Rimmon State Forest, and its land was bought in 1933 with state relief funds.
