About Curtis Arboretum

This arboretum in Wyncote, Montgomery County, was founded by Mary Louise Curtis Bok in honor of her father, Cyrus Curtis, with a landscape designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. About 47 acres of rolling hills, two ponds and more than 50 tree varieties surround Curtis Hall, once the estate's music room and now a township event hall on the National Register of Historic Places. There is also a dog park and a small World War II memorial. The grounds are free and open every day from dawn to dusk.
