Gone with the Wind Museum

A Marietta museum devoted to the classic novel and film Gone with the Wind, housed in an 1851 mansion.

472 Powder Springs Street, Marietta, GA 30064 · Marietta, GA

About Gone with the Wind Museum

The museum sits in Brumby Hall, a historic home built in 1851 on the grounds of Brumby Hall and Gardens. It opened in 2003 in a downtown Marietta warehouse and relocated to the estate in 2018. Its collection of memorabilia covers both the book and the movie, so visitors need not be devoted fans to enjoy it. Highlights include a mourning bonnet worn by Scarlett O'Hara, several one-of-a-kind costumes, a painting from the 1939 film premiere, and original costume sketches. Guests can also wander the gardens and see a piece of the film's Tara set in the Carriage House.
