Housed in a complex of historic mill buildings in downtown Turners Falls, this state park center presents life-size dioramas of watershed habitats and animals, tracing the river from its source to the sea. Visitors can also find an information desk, an art gallery, and event space. Exhibits are free to enter, fully accessible, and open to the public. The center is operated by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation with help from the Friends group.
