About Hagerstown City Park

Hagerstown City Park is a historic green space southwest of downtown Hagerstown, often regarded as the top park in the city system. It contains the Jonathan Hager House & Museum, the homestead of the city's founder. Visitors find lakes, wooded walking trails, picnic areas, and sports facilities. The park also hosts the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, the Hagerstown Railroad Museum with Engine 202, and the Mansion House Art Center. Dogs may be walked in designated areas, pavilions and fields can be rented, and fishing is not allowed in the lakes, where swans and other waterfowl live.
