The Heart Mountain Interpretive Center sits on the site of the Heart Mountain Relocation Center, where more than 14,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated during World War II. The National Historic Landmark site includes a museum with photographs, artifacts and interactive exhibits, plus original camp structures including a root cellar and a replica guard tower. It is located off Highway 14A between Cody and Powell, Wyoming.
