Why you should go…

Founded from the private collection of plastics engineer Gordon B. Lankton, the museum holds more than 1,000 Russian icons dating from the 15th century to today, along with Greek and Ethiopian icons. It occupies two connected buildings once part of the Bigelow Carpet Mill, one of which also served as Clinton's district court and police station. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month.
