The Johnny Appleseed Visitors' Center is a state-run welcome center on the westbound side of Route 2 in Lancaster, Massachusetts, built as the tourism gateway to the 27 communities of North Central Massachusetts. It is operated in partnership with the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, whose tourism affiliate developed the Johnny Appleseed Trail brand along the designated Route 2 corridor. The center offers maps, brochures and staffed travel counseling and draws roughly 165,000 visitors a year.
