About Intuit Art Museum

Intuit Art Museum in Chicago's West Town is one of the few museums anywhere devoted only to self-taught and outsider art. Founded in 1991, it has shown its collection since 1999 in an 1874 brick building on Milwaukee Avenue, and a $10 million renovation finished in 2025 tripled its gallery space. The collection includes Joseph Yoakum, Minnie Evans, Howard Finster and Lee Godie, and a permanent exhibit recreates Henry Darger's apartment and studio. Adult admission is $20, paid at the door, and visitors 24 and under get in free.
