About National Hellenic Museum

The National Hellenic Museum sits in Chicago's Greektown at Halsted and Van Buren. It is described as the second oldest American institution devoted to Greek and Greek-American cultural contributions. The museum moved into its current building after a modernization program, and it opened there in late 2011. It hosts rotating exhibitions, a library and oral history center, and events. Visitors can book guided tours, which require a confirmation letter to hold a reservation. The museum has no public parking lot, but discounted parking is arranged at a nearby garage.
