83 Beals Street, Brookline, MA 02446 · Brookline, MA
John F. Kennedy was born in the upstairs bedroom of this house on Beals Street, and the family lived here until 1920. Rose Kennedy bought the house back in 1966 and furnished it to match her memories, with a nursery, bassinet, christening gown and a dining room set with china. Tours last 30 minutes and are free. The house sits in Brookline's Coolidge Corner neighborhood, and from November to late May it opens only by appointment on Wednesdays and Fridays.
