Laurel Caverns is the largest cave in Pennsylvania, with more than four miles of passages in calcareous sandstone, and in 2026 it became the state's first underground state park. You can only enter on a guided tour: the one-hour Full Lighted Tour climbs 143 steps past the 45-foot Calico Falls, and longer caving programs crawl into unlit sections. The cave stays at 52 degrees, so bring a jacket. The Full Lighted Tour costs $20 for adults, while the trails and lookout above ground are free.
