About Ohiopyle State Park

About 20,500 acres of forest surround more than 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River gorge, a big name in eastern whitewater rafting and kayaking. Ohiopyle Falls, a 20-foot drop across the river, sits right by the village, and the 36-foot Cucumber Falls is a short walk away. The Great Allegheny Passage bike trail runs the length of the park, and the Meadow Run waterslides are natural rock chutes visitors are allowed to ride. Pennsylvania state parks charge no entrance fee, and the park is open sunrise to sunset every day.
