Liberal

Why you should go…

The Liberal Convention & Visitors Bureau runs the city's visitor center at 1 Yellow Brick Road, providing free area maps and information on local attractions and events. Liberal holds the title of Dorothy's official hometown, tied to its Wizard of Oz themed sites, and the bureau's office includes a gift shop selling state and local souvenirs. It serves travelers planning family reunions, conferences, or weekend visits to southwest Kansas.
