About Majestic Caverns

Majestic Caverns, called DeSoto Caverns until 2022, is a show cave in Childersburg whose main room is taller than a 10-story building and longer than a football field. Guided tours leave hourly from the gift shop, last just under an hour, have no stairs and end with a laser light show. The cave stays near 60 degrees all year, and it holds a Copena burial site and saw Civil War mining. Tours start at $34.98, and passes add more than 20 attractions above ground.
