100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127 · Ponce Inlet, FL
Volusia County runs this marine science center near the Ponce Inlet lighthouse, where staff treat sick and injured sea turtles and seabirds. From the Turtle Terrace you look down on eight turtle hospital pools holding patients, hatchlings and washbacks. A 13-foot, 1,400-gallon touch pool holds cownose rays and Atlantic stingrays, fed at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM. A boardwalk off the west side of the parking lot leads to the seabird sanctuary with resident bald eagles. Adults pay $8 and children 3 to 12 pay $5.
