The Mid-America All-Indian Museum sits on the Arkansas River in downtown Wichita and is Kansas's only museum solely dedicated to American Indian culture. It houses a museum, a gallery of nations and a gift shop, with exhibits of traditional and contemporary Native art that rotate quarterly. Outdoor exhibits include a full-size tipi and grass houses depicting Plains Indian life in the 1850s. It was renamed from the Mid-America All-Indian Center in 2022.
