The Museum of Fine Arts in downtown St. Petersburg is a not-for-profit art museum that presents a large comprehensive collection, including work from many regions and centuries, along with photography and Native American art. It hosts changing exhibitions, family and adult programs, guided group tours, and themed evenings. A planned reimagining of its collection galleries will organize art around shared human themes rather than strictly by date or region, and the collection will close temporarily during that work. Visitors can use a free digital guide on the Bloomberg Connects app, and the museum has a cafe and shop on site.
