About Museum of the Bible

Opened in 2017 in the nation's capital, this museum is run by a nonprofit Christian organization founded in 2010. Its galleries cover the Hebrew Bible through immersive walk-throughs, a recreated first-century village tied to Jesus, and the Bible's role in American history. Visitors can also see a flyover ride over DC landmarks, a rare early Christian mosaic on the first floor, and rotating exhibits. Free entry is offered on Tuesdays, and the museum also hosts events, tours, and a theater.
