About Natural Tunnel State Park

Stock Creek carved this tunnel through a limestone ridge over thousands of years, and it is more than 850 feet long and about 10 stories high. Railroad tracks were laid through it in 1893 and the line still carries freight. A chairlift, when running, or a trail takes you to the tunnel mouth, and other trails lead to Lover's Leap and Tunnel Hill. Parking is $5 per car and the chairlift is $5 round trip. The 909-acre park also has cabins, yurts and two campgrounds.
