About New England Holocaust Memorial

Six lit glass towers, each 54 feet high, stand in Carmen Park on Congress Street, right on the Freedom Trail near Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Millions of numbers etched in the glass recall the tattoos forced on prisoners, and each tower is named for one of the six main death camps. Holocaust survivor Stephan Ross founded the memorial, dedicated in 1995. It is outdoors and open at all times, and Haymarket station is about two minutes away.
