Guests ride a vintage electric mine train in a miner's man-trip car once used at the Camp Bird mine, then watch demonstrations of historic drilling and mucking equipment underground. The mine dates to claims staked by the Niegold brothers in the 1870s and reopened as a tour in 1992. Panning for gold, silver and copper is included with the ticket, and the 1904 Old Hundred boarding house is visible on the cliff above the entrance.
