Onset is a small beach village on Buzzards Bay near the west end of the Cape Cod Canal, part of the town of Wareham. The all-volunteer Onset Bay Association runs more than 20 free community events a year, from a summer concert series to a fall Harvest Moon Festival, and maintains the village's public spaces along Onset Bay. The village center offers a sandy beach, a bandstand, and small shops and eateries.
