About Penn Square Mall

Penn Square Mall opened in 1960 as an outdoor center and was enclosed in 1982. Simon Property Group runs the two-story mall, which covers about 1.08 million square feet with roughly 145 stores. Anchors are JCPenney, Macy's, two Dillard's stores and an AMC theater, and there is a food court and a Center Court. The mall marked its 65th anniversary in 2025 with new stores and an interior refresh.
