This Georgia historic site protects the grounds of an 1864 Civil War clash during the Atlanta Campaign. Visitors can walk well-kept trails through forests and fields, view earthworks built by soldiers, and follow roads once used by both armies. A museum displays artifacts, including a cannon on loan from Atlanta History Center, and an 1800s pioneer cabin is open for tours during certain events.
